Hot Tub Maintenance

Spa Frog System (Bromine)

1. Once filled with water; Start up your spa
2. Add 1⁄2 bottle of Pelican Spa Metal Remover
3. Add 2oz Spa Brite-N-Clear
4. Test the water; Adjust the:
   -Total Alkalinity to measure: (125-150ppm)
   -pH to measure: (7.2-7.6)
   **(Make sure you adjust the Alkalinity first because adding Spa Alkalinity will increase both the pH and Alkalinity)**
5. Add 1 bag of Spa Frog ␣ Jump Start
6. Let Spa run on high speed for 1-2 cycles with cover off (about 20 minutes)
7. Set blue mineral cartridge to #6 (For 24 hours)
8. Set yellow bromine cartridge to #5 (For 24 hours)
9. Add 1 oz of ShoX Renew
10. Let Spa run on high speed for 2 cycles with cover off (about 20 minutes)

Weekly Care

1. Test the total alkalinity
2. Test the pH
3. Test for Bromine ␣ Adjust Frog as needed
4. Add 1 oz pelican ShoX Renew
5. Add 2oz of Spa Brite-N-Clear

As Needed

Shock the spa with 1oz ShoX Renew or Cense ␣ Directly before you use spa 2. If foaming occurs, use pelican Spa Defoamer 3. Clean your filter with Cartridge Degreaser - Filter Cleaner. 4. Drain, clean, polish and refill based on spa usage (approximately every 3-4 months)
