Inside, a supportive three-point harness is integrated into the shell, wrapping itself around a thermoformable Intuition® Control Foam 3D liner for the ultimate fit. Underfoot, our proprietary This Grips!™ rubber outsole provides excellent grip while hiking, boot packing, and walking across icy parking lots and sits atop a dual-density midsole. This midsole features a lightweight EVA material and is complemented with our Harshmellow™ damping material to cushion your bones and reduce fatigue after long days on the hill.

It all starts with our This Grips!™ outsole - two different densities of rubber are strategically placed to ensure the best possible grip for the parking lot and the boot pack. A full-EVA midsole is backed with our impact-resistant Harshmellow™ material, helping to reduce vibration and mellow out the harshest of landings. Less vibration of the ankle means that your feet feel comfortable and fresh all day long. Inside, our multi-density Control Foam liner features heat-moldable foam from Intuition®. As an industry leader, Intuition® foam is lightweight, durable, warm, and has an excellent memory - meaning that it molds to the shape of your foot and stays that way. This is wrapped in our 3-point harness - snuggly holding your ankle in place for stability and reducing heel lift for ultimate board control. Our patented Endo™ Construction keeps this snowboard boot extremely lightweight. Replacing a traditional heel counter of the boot with an injected poly material allows us to change the flex and rebound of the Hanford without adding extra weight. A dual-zone BOA® Fit System allows users to adjust the upper and lower of the snowboard boot independently of each other, fitting more foot shapes than a standard single-BOA® boot normally would. It started with an idea. Our snowboard boot scientists approached K2 Snowboarding Team Rider Sage Kotsenburg with a new concept on snowboard boot construction - and the switch flipped, it was on. A first-of-it’s-kind construction comes from a one-piece rubber lower with integrated mesh. To boil it down, this means that the Orton will not only be waterproof, but also warm and dry, all day long. The one-piece-rubber lower is married with a dual-zone BOA® lacing system, making this a versatile boot, fitting feet of all shapes and sizes. In the development of this boot, Sage spent over 100 days in this product, getting it 100% right. Atop of that, the Orton was tested by our staff, our team of athletes, backcountry guides, and our film crew. Thousands and thousands of hours went into setting a new standard with the Orton. Sage knows that the devil is in the details…and he’s detailed. For the best performance in the bootpack, we chose our V5 Vibram® rubber outside. For ultimate damping and vibration absorption, we chose our Marshmallow™ injected midsole and Marshmallow™ Pro insole. For the best possible fit, we chose our performance liner-lasting and a heat moldable tri-density Intuition® liner. To top it all off, a rip-stop asym lace-cover with a gaiter hook keeps all the snow out.

A long-time favorite of resort employees and progressing snowboarders alike, we packed all the essentials into the mix in the Raider, starting with an H4 Coiler BOA® Fit System. This securely closes the shell using a stainless-steel BOA® lace for the perfect fit and helps to effortlessly get you in and out of your boots at the beginning and end of the day. Next, we added Fast-In liner lacing to maximize fit and keep the liner snug against the contours of your feet.
