On Sunday, December 20th, 2015, World Snowboard Day is celebrating its 10th edition. This is once again the opportunity to discover, for free, snowboarding as a sport and culture across the world’s summits with a wide variety of activities - snowboard lessons, equipment tests, demonstrations, meeting pro riders, concerts and much more. Over 150 events took place in 52 countries bringing together 100,000+ snowboarders in 2014. Already there are 83 events in 29 countries for 2015.
What better way to celebrate World Snowboard Day than with a free daily snowboard rental from Pelican Shops? Whether you just want to try out different equipment or wish to get a friend on snow who has never been snowboarding, Pelican Shops make it happen. Riders wishing to rent are even able to pick up the equipment Saturday, December 19th from 9 am to 6 pm and return the equipment Monday, December 21st from 10 am to 8 pm at no charge. A $10 refundable deposit does apply. Bring in a valid driver's license and credit card and Pelican will get you set up.
