These new fiberglass skis, and the team's next creation for the 1964 Winter Olympics, the Dynamic VR7, motivated the company to move from distributing to manufacturing. The brand became Dynastar, a contraction of the names Dynamic and Starflex. In 1965 Les Ressorts du Nord bought the brand, and another Sallanches company, Aluflex joined them.
